The Ultimate Guide To Building A Seasonal Wardrobe

I have to be honest. I've been struggling with my style lately. I've had trouble getting dressed. Every morning I wondered, why am I in this funk?  I can dress everyone else, but I couldn't figure it out for myself? Cue, the seasonal Wardrobe.

My clients don't have an unlimited amount of money time & effort to spend on style. So each season I build small, but functional wardrobes for them to make it through the months. It works! So I figured, I need to finally do this for myself. And walaa, my style funk was gone.

If you're in a similar situation, then I can do the same for you. Follow along in this series of posts to learn how to create a seasonal wardrobe.

But first...

What is a Seasonal Wardrobe?

A seasonal wardrobe is a selection of clothing made up only the pieces you love. It is  a well curated number of items that can be styled together for a certain number of months.

If you've heard of a capsule wardrobe than it probably sounds a lot like that, but it isn't! Let's google what a capsule wardrobe is.

Anytime I look up capsule wardrobes online, I get soo bored. Most capsule wardrobes are made up of too many basics and a lot less pieces.

What makes a seasonal wardrobe different?

  • Although the goal there will be less pieces because you will only have the items you truly love, there is NO limit to the number of pieces in a seasonal wardrobe.

  • It is only about ONLY owning the pieces you truly love.

  • It is made up of both basics & trendier items.

Now let's get down to business...

How to build a seasonal wardrobe

I'm not going to lie, building a seasonal wardrobe takes work. It requires a lot of time & effort to plan out your wardrobe for a whole 3-6 months. But it will make getting dressed on the daily easier.
